I built both my bikes, so no test ride. I test rode a Giant TCR a couple years ago when I was looking for a carbon bike...maybe 20 minutes...and couldn't tell anything about the bike except it was a bike. I must not be very perceptive when it comes to ride because I have difficulty telling any difference between the ride of my CF bike with low spoke count wheels and my 853 bike with 32 spoke OPs. Logic tells me they should feel different...but I don't sense it.

The only BIG difference I've ever felt was when a friend with a Kestral TT bike let me take it around the block. The thing I remember vividly was when I began, the bike was in around 53/18, and with my pedal pressure, it just took off. With my bikes, when I start in a high gear, I can feel some flex. So...all I know is my next bike will be laterally stiff yet vertically compliant.
