Yeah, that's my problem as well. For any serious work --hub overhauls, wheel building / truing, soldering up LED lights, &c-- I have to bring all the tools up to the kitchen after the family's in bed; so when I quit, regardless whether I've finished the task at hand, it all goes back down the stairs and I put it down the first empty space I can find. The result is a level of entropy that goes beyond the wildest imagination of those who have posted so far in this thread. I'm talking about a scene so messy I'm probably going to be too embarrassed to post it even in this thread.

Which leads me to wonder... Tom, what's the prize, for winning this particular contest?
