Erie Canal in the fall, about Oct 1st.
From Albany to Buffalo, NY, from the Hudson River to Lake Erie.


363 miles, over 500 ft elevation differential. (Downhill from Buffalo)

Never too far from towns, restaurants and hotels.

You could do worse...
