I've got one, just not sure how many watts. I inherited it when my grandfather (who was a jack-of-all-trades) passed, and haven't really gotten around to mastering wiring/soldering electronic components yet. I'll have to check its wattage to see whether it would be up to the task.

As to the stainless flux, you may have to hit a plumbing contractor store to find it. Silver solder is more common, but can also be a tad difficult to find.
