CXP22s are 525g per rim. Velocity Deep Vs are 580g per rim. That would make the CXP22s about 0.25lb lighter than a comparable Deep V set. If you can find out how much a Deep V set weighs, then you have your answer.
Kinlins XR270s are not exactly low profile, but they're still lighter than CXP22s at ~450g per rim.
IRO is currently having a sale on their Cold Fusion rims, which are said to be rebranded Velocity Fusions. If this is indeed the case, they have a 25mm depth with a reported weight of 480g. Buying their hubs and rims together will definitely give you a great, low priced wheelset, even if you got it professionally assembled.
Wow! Do you think the Iro Cold Fusions are as light as their Velocity counterparts? If so, would the "Standard Wheels" at their page
here be lighter than the CXP22/Deep V's? I'd be willing to pay $200 for that.
