Bottom Bracket replacement - what replaces a square taper lp-26?
I'm overhauling a early 90's rockhopper for a friend. The BB is grinding and needs replaced.
I pulled it last night, and it's marked as follows:
Shimano LP-26 73 1.37x24 - It's for an older acera triple crank.
I know 73 is the BB shell width, but the length is what I'm having problems with. Is it not marked?
I suppose I'll have to find some calipers to measure the blasted thing...
