What bothers me is why the American media avoids the topic of WHY bicycling is dangerous in the USA: because of the out-of-control car fetish, because of the car-centric infrastructure, because any clueless idiot can get a drivers license, because of the overwhelming sense of entitlement that makes drivers dangerous to other road users, because the enforcement is lacking, because drivers who hurt people get away with a slap on the hand, because....
