Oh, I don't mind how it would look or feel. I don't usually ride in the tops. My biggest concern is if whether the flat spot will keep me from sliding a quill stem clamp onto this bar. Specs are 70mm reach, 120mm drop. Supposedly in this new 'compact' that I like. I put in an order with my LBS and the bar is backordered until the 1st if April so we'll see how it goes...

EDIT: here is the compact shape I want.
