U can put external cups or outboard cups type of bb to practically any bike. Obviously if the frame was not built with a BB30 shell from the factory you can not put bb30 cups onto it. Unless you know find a way to swap the BB shell w/o having to cut the old one from the frame using a hacksaw, so pretty much the answer to your question is: RIGHT!
