Cycling caps are PRO because they're very functional. They soak up and redirect your sweat from your eyes, their short peak shields sun and rain without blocking your vision even when in the drops, and they complete the Belgian Spring Classics "hard men" look (ala Bartoli, VDB, etc).

These are all true regardless of whether the Hipsters like them.
