those would work, at least on the front, but you'd loosen your stays every time you took off the wheel. If you can't stand the P-clamps, there's this for rear dropouts with enough "negative space": these are the latest incarnation of Jim Blackburn's custom eyelets for frames otherwise with no rack/fender mounting points.
