Any other brands your shop carries? I know pros who rode the SL-1 (Yahoo! cycling) but the Neuvation has no record of being a suitable race bike (could be really flimsy frame for all I know...)

I myself wouldn't be satisfied with the Neuvation and would be staring lustfully at other bikes on the start line...

I'd check to see if there are any cannondale dealers near you - a CAAD10-4 is pretty much the ideal CAT 4 bike (apart from the stock wheels). MSRP on that is about $1800. You can get a powertap off ebay for $500 if you look around
