Have you dealt with many machine shops?

Highly unlikely they would want to deal with a one-off for less money than is being discussed...certainly not chromed. Not to mention: set-up charges and lead-times.

No promises...but...I might be able to make a pair out of stainless (to avoid chroming)...how quickly do you need them BG??? Not sure on price either, until I figure out the operations...
