I do enjoy working in the bike industry... met a fellow at the co-op tonight who is building up his new touring bike which is a taitanium mtb with a front suspension with lockout and front and rear discs and it will be running a Rohloff which I will be setting up for him.
His old touring bike was a mid level Diamondback mtb and the guy has ridden that on every continent and ridden from South America to Alaska, across China, India, and Europe as well as touring in the United States... said he gave the bike away in Fiji before coming home.
His new ride will curb out at about 6 bills when it is all done... he says he will probably keep this bike.
