I think it is a terrible advertisement. It is attempting to denigrate other forms of commuting -even people who might possibly buy a Brompton. For some reason, the person taking mass transit with the Brompton had an easier time than the person taking mass transit without a Brompton, why? Why is the other bicyclist shown as sweating and sloppy, they are both going to sweat a bit. I don't like the negative parts of this advertisement, it would have been much better to stay positive, to show the fun of bicycling.
It reminds me of an advert on the Mpls. bus against bicycling to work. They didn't seem to realize that in the winter, those same bicyclists are their customers.
