Using a cargo bike (and a trailer) would work best for a sparse, stripped down band. The Stray Cats in the early 1980s is one band that comes to mind. They had a guitar, an upright bass and a minimal drum set. That's not a lot of equipment. For a bigger, fuller, richer sound, more would be needed.
