will New Paint on my Old Bike=Speed???

I just had my old school 10 year old CAD 3 C-dale painted all nice and Black..Powder coated actually.....I chose a cool black textured flat black looks nice. So will it make me faster or did I just waste $100?
The recent snow storm does not allow me to give her a test ride, in the 20's with the wind chill today in NW NJ...
