right now it's still has a stock drive train but I plan to get a 53/39 crankset, profile design fast foward seatpost and BONTRAGER race light cyclocross handlebars in 46cm within a couple weeks. Right now i have drop bar ends on it, I cut down my stock bar to about 19 inches and put road bike brakes as well as cane creek inline brakes cause I like to rest my hands on the tops when i'm riding easy. I have changed the stock tires to 700x25 forte pro+ road tires since I mostly ride on smoother terrian. So far I can reach 27mph pretty easily. I hope that will increase when I get a new crank on there. I'm just trying to figure out if i'm gonna have to change everything since it's a 9 speed. I'd like to put a 10 speed crankset on there. 9 speed crank set would be fine but I can't find any that have a 53 chainring.
