I just lengthened the straddle cable to see if it reduces the fork shudder. I also swapped out the rear wheel with my Fuji touring bike to see if the alternate cassette stops the chain jumping on the middle 3 cogs.
I found a long bolt and will try using an angle bracket to mount the fork cable guide. If that doesn't work I'll look at drilling.
My tires just shipped from the UK.
