The original front struts are still on the car and going strong -well at least going. The original rears were just recently replaced when they finally gave up all of the ghost and started banging.

300k on struts? Impressive. My X wife had a '97 USA-made version and the original struts were totally dead before 100k.

The component parts aren't made to the same exacting standards here.
