A whole lotta junk up in that trunk...

On the stand is my 82/84 Schwinn World Tourist. This ain't no gaspipe Schwinn neither, it had a sticker that said X-tra Lite and it had that swing-ding-diddely Forward Freewheel Positron drivetrain. I modified the drivetrain with bottom of the barrel parts from Niagara in a 5 speed config, put a big fricken basket on the front, and adourned it with a couple of stickers from the local skateboard shop. It may not be Classic or Vintage but it is almost 30 years old and it does turn heads and it is slicker than snot.

Oh yea, since it was the rigid cable positron system there was no cable stop on the chainstay, so I MacGyvered one from a brake barrel adjuster, a hose clamp and tape. Then gave it a squirt of paint to match the frame.
