As promised here are some pics of the new snubber arrangement I received from Moulton/Pashley.

A new plate that fits over the old one is supplied together with a new roller. The old roller is removed then the new plate and roller attached over the main axel. A bolt then goes through from the inside of the elongated hole in the old plate and tightens into a tapped hole in the new plate. It is then possible to adjust the new plate up and down to set the roller position and initally tighten the bolt. The main axel nut can then be tightened to lock it all down firmly. This new arrangement allows for finer and closer positioning of the roller nearer to the belt than on the original setup, which should prevent slipping. Since fitting, I have not had the belt slip once even when standing on the pedals on a hill

Old and new

Here is my Flickr set with pics and notes.
