I hadn't realized it on my first test ride, but I had forgotten to remove the 3rd hand tool from my rear caliper. (No wonder the shoes were making that howling noise!

I must say - It rides EVEN BETTER now, and though I'm a pretty big guy, I figure I could get used to riding on that more modern compact frame. I may even transfer my BF membership to the '41.
