Did i miss is it. What exactly is the problem your trying to fix. Is it numbness? is it soft tissue pain? Is it sit bone pain? bruising? just curious...

I tried a couple of different saddles and couldn't get 20 mile on them. Went with the Brooks B17 styles and while they did better I still would reach 5-6 hours and just feel like my tuckus was on fire and spent a lot of time out of the saddle then. I finally got a non-slotted Selle An-atomica and it did much better but i still got a little numbness. I picked up a clyde version of the Selle An-Atomica that was slotted and tried it. The slot cut out the numbness but I wasn't used to the flat hammack position of the saddle so I went and cut a 1/2 slot into my non-slotted Selle and wow, that made the difference. I've sat 12 hours in it at a time with no problems. I prefer it to a car seat really.

+1 to being able to infinitely adjust the tilt on the saddle. That makes a huge difference.

Wallingford bike has the 6 month Brooks/Berthoud guarantee.
Competitive Cyclist used to have a $75 demo kit for like a week with 13 saddles but i can find it on their website anymore.
See this thread:

But i will stick with my Selle An-Atomica's.
