You had passionate men, taking passionate stands. The notion that our government has been civilized until recently, just isn't correct. I think our level of civility hasn't changed all that much. It's just that today we hear of instances where civility is lacking instantly via numerous media outlets. I must say, however, that I do tend to stay in the 50+ section of BikeForums primarily because the demeanor here is more respectful and mature.
