After a bit more research I am pretty sure this is a 1982 not an 81, could have started life as a 950 frame, 957 bike (Campy components) or 959 bike (Dura Ace). I got it built with mostly Campy components so I am calling it a 1982 957.
My 730 has a sticker with the head tube painted the same colour:

If it's a 1982, the frame number might be on the steerer, like this:
