Thanks! I had to spread the "ears" a bit with a bigazz screwdriver, then I polished up the edges nice to make them smooth for the cord. This was one thing that wandering the hardware aisles at Ace Hardware really didn't help with. I could find a lot of hooks, but everything was very small or sharp-edged....I wanted something smooth and with a larger radius to keep from chafing the cord.

NOS? No. Really nice, sure. And yes, the SKS/Planet Bike combo is great. You get the more period correct fenders without garish logos and the REALLY nice mudflaps from PB. And $5 for the flaps....it's a bargain. Heck, to get the screws washers and acorn nuts for mounting was almost $5! I wanted to go stainless but the stainless acron nuts, even in that size were like $3 each!
