Bikes: 1991 Trek 2300 Pro Composite, 2009 Trek 7.6 FX

I'm seeing a couple schools of thought on sizing the GC3s. I wear sz L gloves generally primarily for the length of my long thin fingers. The girth of my palm measures a smidge over 8.5". Any thoughts on sizing?
