Its called free-locking, lock front wheel to downtube,lean it against building.If they want it,they have to carry it away,I do it all the time, including dept stores,gas stations,and all over downtown.Or you can put the lock thru the rear triangle near the rear brake bridge and thru the wheel.I live in a really crappy neighborhood and leave it outside locked to a railing.I dont worry about someone taking it.I worry more about walking around alone at night where I live, now that definitely isnt safe.
