A powertap wheelset with the Caad10 or Fuji would have meant over a $3000 investment total. I'm graduating college, I don't have that kind of cash flow to work with.
The powertap will allow me to focus my training and prepare myself for next year. If I have another good year and keep the cycling up, I'll consider a top of the line build for my next bike. If I had decided on the Fuji I was going to have the same fitness and same workout planning I was doing before, the only difference would be the bike MIGHT be lighter and MIGHT be stiffer. Big whoop, I'd still have a marginal training plan. If I can get a 10 watt ftp increase from the powertap, it will already be a more worthwhile choice than the other.
BUT!
Which is the better "bike"?
I'm sure one could put a Powertap and SRAM bits on a GMC Denali bike too and saved even more money.
