At my previous job, the employer provided 5 racks under a shallow stair well. Others kept their bikes under one of the two other stairwells in the building that did not have racks. About half the bikes in the office were not locked.

Current job has about 20 times as many employees and does not allow bikes inside any building. The federal police can cite us if we are caught doing. There are about 200 bike lockers scattered around the site for employees as well as a few dozen bike racks. The lockers are free as long as we don't lose the key. Lost keys incur a $30 charge. The bike racks are a bit hidden and before I started work, I had a hard time finding them the few times I had to go to HR before my first day.
