Though, if your boyfriend's bike is more FGFS oriented, then it's not a faux pas to have the saddle pointed upwards. A lot of FGFSers are doing it.
No he's not into FGFS at all. Ugh I just hope one day he'll see the light. Normally I have no problem calling people out on stuff but it just seems so trivial and if it doesn't bother him then I really don't want to be a bike snob about it even though it AGONIZES me. Plus he doesn't ride it that often, only when I make him ride with me, but he's lazy so I don't even bug him that much to ride. Thus me still needing a bike buddy.
