This is probably limited to canadians, but the run of the mill Sekines you can find quite easily around here have an excellent ride. I find that they are indeed heavy, but ride much like any nicer straight gauge tubing. And you seriously cannot swing a cat in this neck of the woods without hitting one.

Those French knew how to make a very nice riding bicycle and while many were adopting aggressive frame geometries the UO8 was still styled like bikes from the 50's and 60's with a very long wheelbase, slack angles, wonderful riding forks, and higher volume tyres.
It is a design I would like to replicate.
