You might be able to bolt an extension platform to a plain cage-type pedal. MKS Sylvian Touring have a nice big flat cage. The GR9 model has a large flat platform but not at the ball.
I got that condition when I started jogging too much too soon. I found that regular stretching helps. And not jogging.
