Bike Update!
Well. The update is that there's no update. I was supposed to head to my parent's and fit those fenders this past weekend (they have a hanging car rack, I have zero rack) but a hiccup in a film project and then progressively worse and worse weather left me stuck on campus and terribly grumpy about it. Now I just have too much work to do to allow myself to work on the bike. I spent way to much time dawdling with it last week!
With any luck I'll be back to work on it this coming weekend!
Since there's nothing new to show of the mixtie (now named Anastasia, by the way) I thought I'd share my other bicycle.

Cricket, my 1973 Schwinn Collegiate. She was a decent mess when I got her. Sat in a barn for 20 years. Wish I'd taken more and better photos of the restoration process! As a first bike to learn restoration and repair on, well other then spending a bit too much I couldn't have asked for a better bike.

The only photo I snapped of her as I'd just gotten her home. Covered in rain from braving a surprise torrential rainstorm on memorial day. There'd have been more, but a huge tree had fallen in our front yard and well... Trees on powerlines have to take priority over bicycles.
