I beg to differ. I have never once been turned down when asking to park my bike in a store for a brief period while I pick up a few things. If the store does not have a bike rack outside, they bear some responsibility to accomodate their clientele. If they refuse, I will take my business elsewhere. Now if I forgot my lock, I still ask to park inside, but would likely I go home and get the lock or go to the store some other time.
