Mustache Handle Bars
The Soma Mustache bar I ordered arrived today. I tried installing it with the grip area downward and upward. The downward grip looks cool but its not as comfortable as the reverse installation. In order to use the handle bars with the grips lower than the stem I would have to get a taller stem. I will probably go with the grip area higher than the stem. They sort of look like Nitto Albatross bars. In that position the road brakes levers for drop bars don't look or feel right. So I will have to find another alternative that won't interfere with the multiple hand positions that mustache bars allow. Inverse brake levers won't work because I'm using barcons. I'm trying to figure out if the Guidonett type levers might work.
