actually, they make another app called MotionXDrive - which is a car GPS app - so the standard, landscape, garmin-esk layout - turn by turn, audio, rerouting, etc - but it's 1.99 per month... which i guess is still cheap at $24/year - but psychologically is still expensive so i think they excluded turn by turn on purpose -
