Sorry to hear that Patrick 512: The reason I'm interested is that I have had the same problem, my Doc suggested orthotics as did yours. It has worked for me. One thing I did was to use them all of the time. Even in my apartment, I never walked anywhere without them. After several months there was improvement. Is it possible that a bone spur has developed? If so the only way forward is to have them surgically removed. Ok, best of luck to you on this.
