Yes, you need a small portable compressor at the minimum. There are thousands of choices. As for ventalation, there again many choices. I have a up draft spray booth. But, you could build something in the back yard with a cheep patio tent, plastic, AC filters and a box fan. As for PPE cover up because to get over spray all over you is just sticky. 3M makes a nice paint respirator for about $20 at most any hardware store. You must use more than a dust mask.
