Me too, when I lived out West where these types of lanes were more common (CO, NV, CA). I would be delighted to have these types of lanes in New England were we often have no shoulders outside the traffic lane. Frankly though, I can go for 30+ mile ride not see a single other cyclist, which makes it tough to justify the infrastructure expense.
