So how long do the Brooks (say, B17) take to shape to your sit bones? I sat on one at the LBS and it felt like sitting on a hardwood plank. I'm looking at a bunch of new-styled saddles, but so many people love their Brooks, it makes me wonder if it is worth suffering to break it in.
