But I am curious as to why mountain biking is prohibited on the trail? it's not as if mountain bikers would be disturbing anything. they would just pass along the trail as a hiker would, enjoying the scenery and exercise. If a hiker and biker met on the path, they would just pass by each other without consequence.
Bikes rip up trails a lot faster than people.
Last I heard, they were having trouble keeping up with it,
the Boomers are getting old. I do hope it doesn't disappear.
Don't get me wrong, I love biking, and I used to Mtn bike.
But the thing I liked best was backpacking.
