I had thought that 26 inches was 26 inches. Everday is indeed a school day.

It's my girlfriend's mother's partner's ex work bike (he stopped using it as soon as he was offered a job with a van). It's from the 80's I believe, and has westwood wheels with rod brakes, which makes for some hairy braking!

The Pashley frame seems (letter-) bombproof, and the all the moving parts work super smooth, but the paintwork and chroming on the rims and rod brake articulation is looking a bit shabby now.

I'll link a picture when my camera battery is charged.
