So if I was to use them of a long brevet I would have to top the pressure up at a control point to maintain more or less the original pressure. For a short brevet of race the pressure drop probably wouldn't make much of a difference. At least I know its normal.

Are you able to installed these tires by hand as both wheel and tire manufacturers recommend?
