Great riding cromoly lugged frame needed a new drivetrain. The old cranks were past their prime and the quill stem suffered from neglect. There is a small amount of rust on the frame...otherwise it's still in great shape. (i purchased bike new in 1990)

The new drivetrain came from the 7.7FX. Schwalbe 2 inch 'Big Apples' went on the original wheels. V-brakes up front. Original cantis on the rear. New stem, bar and Ergons - liked the quill stem setup better and hope to return to it if I can find suitable parts. Brooks B-17 saddle on Cane Creek thudbuster seatpost....saddle is new, the seatpost is not.


The paint is still looking good.

I cannot locate the green rear rack that I had....matched the paint on the Trek exactly.
