So looked at my bike again and yeah, there is about 5-6inches of seatpost showing and the top of the seat is about another 2-3 inches above that. So 8-9inches is above the top of the seatpost is about right.

The thing is is that the top tube feels kinda long, maybe because of my 110mm stock IRO stem! I'm about 6'3''.

I'm looking to get a short stem around 90mm.


Still, I like the bike very much. However, if I were in the market for just a frameset, I'd look for something like an '09 Jamis Sputnik frameset (with the carbon fork) or a bareknuckle.
