I'd agree 100% that in the past the video game (World of Warcraft, fyi).

The one thing I've discussed with her is that by doing bothI'm not as likely to get overboard in either. Granted, it could turn out that both absorb huge chunks of my time, and at that point, she and I have agreed that she can tell me and I'd drop the game again instantly.

My biggest issue is that I can't sit on the couch and do nothing, but, as I said - I'll go do a huge ride, run, swim - all within 7 hours, then walk another 6-7 miles just because I'm still wired. Even walking doesn't give my body the chance to recover it needs - so my hope is that when I know I must just sit down and relax, I can do so in front of a computer game I know can absorb me enough not to go throw on the jersey and go touring all over Central Texas.
