Yeah, I found out the hard way the amount of exposed valve that was just enough for my floor pump was not quite enough for the Co2 inflator.

Not a lesson I expected to get riding in the canyon to meet friends on a very dark and very cold winter morning. Made it, just barely.

That little extra dork-sauce added by an extra 12mm of stem per wheel isn't going to rock anybody's world off it axis, compared to what happens when your stuff doesn't work when you need it to.
