Right, I like the alloy braking surface also. That way I can just swap out wheels and not have to change pads. I'm really looking forward to getting them. I hope they will be a good purchase.

** Islandrider, I'll sure post and let you know how they compare. My Elites have been a great all 'round everyday wheel.. Light, durable, and dependable. Can wait to compare the two. I've never had a wheelset this expensive, but I hear that's a slippery slope anyway!!
